How our guides are made
We want you to know exactly what you're buying. Here is the process every Better Day Guides title goes through.
1. Start from published guidance
Every guide begins with research into guidance published by authoritative organizations, such as professional bodies and public-health agencies. The organizations a guide draws on are listed on its page. Listing a source means we used its published material; it does not mean that organization reviewed or endorsed our guide.
2. AI-assisted drafting
We use AI tools to help draft outlines, chapters, checklists and worksheets from that research. Every guide says so on its copyright page: "Created with AI assistance; reviewed and edited by a human editor."
3. Automated claim checks
Drafts go through automated checks that flag medical-sounding claims, guaranteed outcomes and anything that can’t be traced back to the guide’s content and sources. Flagged text is rewritten or removed.
4. Human review and sign-off
A person reads the finished guide and the sales page before anything goes on sale, and signs off on it. Guides on topics that touch health, safety or wellbeing get a “when to get professional help” section and a clear disclaimer.
